Knowledge Commons: Practicalities for open educators II

Yesterday I listed 12 topics that could/should be covered in an open course on copyright, licences and OER’s for education. Please add the issues you’d like to see addressed by commenting on that post.

Today I am asking for comments and opinions on how long the course should be if it were to be presented as a series of on-line modules, whether self study or interactive.

Could the list of topics be pared down, alternatively could modules cover more than one of the topics which I have listed?

If I were to offer weekly interactive (if asynchronous) discussion component then how many weeks would be sustainable for teachers, lecturers and students? Four? Six? Twelve?
